THE YOUNG PADDO

The Paddington Art Prize team is excited to announce the launch of the Young Paddo Prize, a new concurrent annual national exhibit of 20 young national finalists whose A4 paintings on paper draw inspiration from the Australian landscape and environment.

The Young Paddo Prize accepts entries from artists aged 5 to 18*, with five finalist works selected from each of the following age groups:

5 - 8 years

13 - 15 years

9 - 12 years

16 - 18 years

*artworks must be submitted by a parent or guardian

KEY DATES

Entries open: 
February 3rd

Entries close: 
June 29th

Finalists announced:
July 18th

Entry fee: $10

Painting on A4 paper

Inspired by Australian landscape

honourable mention awarded to artists in each age catagory

Paddington Art Prize acknowledges the Gadigal peoples of Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land we are based on and extends that acknowledgment to all Traditional Custodians of the land across the continent which are showcased in every work included in this art prize.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' unique cultural and spiritual relationship to Country and pay respect to Elders past, and present.
