Yerriyong (Regrowth After Fires) – WINNER PADDINGTON ART PRIZE, 2020

On a recent trip to Braidwood, I was struck by the devastation from the recent bushfires as I drove from Braidwood to Nowra. In this painting I have attempt to convey the power of regrowth and renewal that is possible after such devastation.
