Tasmania is a place of both sublime beauty and at times, cruel history. On steely days, such as in my picture, there is a sense of a dark past embedded in the very terrain. White light and slashing horizontals, deep ochres and shard like darks punctuate the landscape and set a course across the surface for the eye to follow.
Tasmania continues to fascinate and intrigue me … I’ll be back, very soon.
