Stay with me

I grew up watching preminghana – a mountain that looms on the western edge of lutruwita/Tasmania. It’s a mountain I’ve seen, known, felt, remembered. Now, living away, the mountain rests far from me. But it stays with me when painting, and it’s here in this work.
