Rockface – Wasp Head – Murramarang

‘Rockface, Wasp Head, Murramarang’ references a detail of the rock formation at Wasp Head, in the Murramarang National park, on the NSW South Coast. The ancient cliff face there exhibits erosion from wind and water, the surface has stains from oxides and fragments of embedded fossilised logs. This work is one of a series about geology and rock formations, where I focus on texture and colour.
