On the Edge of the Lake

How the un-known and the known interacts with the natural landscape is my inspiration. My work shifts between ‘more and less abstract’ but I persevere on being authentic to the ‘physical moment’ and merging that ethereal moment in time!

This painting is about the beauty and savagery of salt-lake country in the scrub waste lands of inner Western Australia. Being “in the moment” standing on the edge of Salt Lake Deborah as all around me, life struggles for survival.
