Looking South from South Coogee Wetlands with Unopened Household Lilies and a Still from Guy’s Wilcannia Story
This work attempts to capture the capacity of landscape to hold memory and experience. It pools three seemingly unrelated elements (a still form Guy’s Instagram story of Wilcannia, the sea at South Coogee and a bunch of unopened lilies) to reference intimate personal experience and furthermore question ways we experience landscape, particularly from the comfort of our homes.
