This passage of trees and dam is very close to our house in Hill End, it’s the first place I visit when I return to my studio. These trees all have their unique personalities that are in a constant state of flux. The yellow tree had its moment of glory but because of the lack of water we didn’t see the usual Autumnal changes, just a fleeting reminder of a season that past. The dam is dry now, this was its last gasp and the final reflection.
